Yes a German Savagnin from Weingut’s Seckinger’s on Savagnin plantation in the Pfalz! It has everything you’d expect from a Jura iteration and with its own uniqueness. Tropical fruit with a touch of bruised apple on the attack followed by beautiful minerality and with a consistent, long finish dominated by salty-ness with a minor touch of nuttiness and spice. The whole is refreshing and very well balanced. Drink chilled. A very small allocation of a few cases had made it into the UK. Special.
