António Pereira’s vineyard “Quinta do Freixo” is located on the banks of the Tâmega River in Amarante, Vinho Verde. Pereira’s wines are made from organic Tinta Nacional (The name for Vinhao in the area), an indigenous red tincture grape variety that produces deep colours and flavours. Unique winemaking process restricts the influence of anything but the grapes on the wine, generating fruity and delicate red Vinho Verde with great flavour.
