What about the wine itself? jointly, a lengthy macerated blend of Macabeo, white Grenache and muscat produces an ultra-powerful and unique orange wine; exaggerated but in the best way possible as it really and truly mirrors the terroir that it comes from – the scorching hot coastline of Roussillon. Orange marmalade, ripe citrus compote, a touch of floral honey, cinnamon, clove and turmeric. We recommend serving lightly chilled and pairing with bold dishes such as African, Caribbean and south-east Asian cuisine.
A delightfully dry, honey flavoured orange wine. It confounds the senses with how it can smell and taste sweet yet perfectly dry and well rounded at the same time. It almost has a buttered popcorn note. Holds up incredibly well with substantial, spicy food.
