ENVOL ROUGE 2019
Cheverny is emerging as one of the Loire Valley’s slightly more hidden gems, producing excellent wines at a superb value. Domaine Huards has been certified biodynamic for a while and has always been quietly producing their wines naturally.
PINOT NOIR PIERRE CHAUDES 2020
This Pinot Noir is an excellent example of how lovely this variety can be grown and made in Alsace – The concentration of a Burgundy on a wide palate, along with mineral notes. It is now very enjoyable as a juicy, generous natural wine, however for those who like to cellar wines, we would recommend keeping one for anything from 5-10 years.
PINOT NOIR NATURE 2018
An excellent example of the sheer quality that can be obtained from Pinot Noir coming from Alsace. With many very interesting plots/vineyards neighbouring the various Grand Crus of this region, you can expect wines with their own unique personality and attraction.
LOULOU 2020
50% Pinot Noir / 50% Pinot Gris, a white and red variety blended by masterful alchemy at Domaine Meyer, Northalten. It’s a charmingly unique and delicate creature; the colour of an old rose/light cherry red with inviting, floral aromas of candied red fruits, blood orange and autumn undergrowth. Extraordinarily supple with round, full and soft material that lines the palate and immerses it with pure fruit sensation.
LA VALLON PINOT NOIR 2017
Biting into a Pinot Noir” VDF Languedoc-Roussillon, France
ROUGE DE LA
A 100% Pinot Noir that feels like drinking hot lava straight from the mouth of an erupting volcano. The comics type label can easily deceive: It achieves a quality found mostly in such noble grape varieties that the French describe as a “steel fist (or punch) in a silk glove” or in other words immense power from a relatively low alcohol content, all served on concentrated and silky consistency.
