ENVOL ROUGE 2019
Cheverny is emerging as one of the Loire Valley’s slightly more hidden gems, producing excellent wines at a superb value. Domaine Huards has been certified biodynamic for a while and has always been quietly producing their wines naturally.
PIGAMA
A “gloglou” (meaning very drinkable) natural wine done right. The blending of Pinot Noir, Gamay and Maréchal Foch (a hybrid cross between riesling and a few other varieties!) raised individually in old barrels for 8-12 months.
LES GRAVES 2020
Feel The Crunch” AOC Macon Serrieres (Maconnais), France
LE CLOS DE LYS (MORGON) 2020
Jean-Claude Chanudet who currently runs this Domaine was amongst a small group of winemakers (Jules Chauvet, Guy Breton and Charly Thevenet) that decided to produce natural wines in times when the word organic would have pompous wine connoisseurs sneering with laughter.
PORC TOUT GAI
A 100% Gamay that has been aged for 15 months in concrete tanks. The result is a slightly reductive aroma that will disappear after 15-20 of opening the bottle. What you also get is a wonderful round, the juicy palate full of a velvety fruit. A good and balanced natural wine that will make you feel all too greedy! Excellent with cheese boards and charcuterie.
BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU 2021
A classic Beaujolais Nouveau with extra purity and length. Gamay fruit sourced in Regnie on Grey granite soil and vinified by the lovely Jean-Pascal and Jean-Marie (Domaine Sarnin-Berrux) in Burgundy.
